About The Position

House Manager & Family Assistant with Meal Prep Support Location: Livingston, MT 59047 Employment Type: Part-time (20-25 hours/week) Proposed Schedule: Tuesday – Friday flexible between 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Compensation: $30–35/hour, based on experience Start Date: ASAP Requirements: Maintain a smoke-free environment Valid driver's license Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement for errands) About Our Family We are a loving, down-to-earth, entrepreneurial family of six, including four children (ages 6, 9, 12, and 15), living in a beautiful rural setting about 30 minutes from Bozeman. Our home is full of energy as we balance work, homeschooling, children’s activities, and caring for our animals - including a dog, cat, bearded dragon, and several farm animals. We are health-conscious and enjoy preparing homemade, plant-based meals. While our days are full, we make a conscious effort to carve out time to connect as a family and unwind together. We also own and operate a wellness business that we are deeply involved in, which brings a dynamic and purpose-driven rhythm to our home life. Over time, we’ve developed systems that help our household run smoothly, often alternating schedules so one parent is working from home while the other is in the office or homeschooling the younger children. Even with these systems in place, we recognize the value of bringing in thoughtful support to help alleviate the day-to-day mental and physical load of running a busy household. We love spending time outdoors, caring for our animals, and traveling whenever we can. Maintaining a calm, supportive energy in our home is important to us. We are seeking a House Manager who can confidently partner with us and take the lead on household organization, meal prep, and overall estate upkeep so we can spend more time focused on what matters most - being present with our family and enjoying the life we built. Who You Are We are looking for a motivated, adaptable, and grounded individual who can fit seamlessly into our home and rhythm. You should be highly organized, proactive, and able to manage various responsibilities independently. With your experience, you will help maintain our household systems, from meal prep to estate management, with a positive and nurturing presence. You’ll be comfortable managing day-to-day tasks while supporting our family’s personal space. A healthy, balanced lifestyle aligns with our family’s values, and we need someone who can maintain clear boundaries while providing light supervision and care when needed. You should be mindful of energy dynamics in a busy household and have experience with kids and multiple moving parts. We value communication, initiative, and a willingness to help without needing constant direction. We’re looking for someone who is mindful, and can also take ownership. It’s essential that the person is intuitive and sensitive to all types of energy, able to read the room, and respond appropriately. Additionally, the role requires an independent individual who can collaborate to manage our caretakers onsite and coordinate the needs of our farm animals and property.
