About The Position
Coury Hospitality is hiring an Overnight House Attendant at TETRA Hotel, Autograph Collection in Sunnyvale, California. The House Attendant helps maintain a pristine, welcoming, and well-maintained property, supporting the guest experience and the hotel’s housekeeping, banquets, and engineering teams. The role includes cleaning and organizing guest corridors, public areas, meeting spaces, and service zones; assisting with banquet setup and breakdown; restocking supplies; safely using cleaning equipment; carrying out minor maintenance; responding to guest requests; and following lost-and-found, equipment-safety, and cleanliness procedures. The work is physically active and fast-paced, and requires lifting, pushing and pulling carts, and standing for extended periods.
Requirements
- Be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Be able to push and pull carts weighing up to 250 pounds.
- Be able to remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Be comfortable reading and executing event setup instructions and layouts.
- Communicate clearly and collaborate across departments.
- Be reliable, punctual, and professional in demeanor and appearance.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hotel housekeeping or facilities support.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and order in guest corridors, public areas, meeting spaces, and service zones.
- Support Housekeeping, Banquets, and Engineering teams.
- Set up and break down banquet events, including tables, chairs, staging, and décor, according to event diagrams and Banquet Event Orders.
- Restock linens, amenities, and supplies in storage areas and on guest room attendant carts.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and correctly, including vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet extractors.
- Perform minor maintenance and repairs in guest and public areas.
- Respond to guest requests and support team members with urgency and professionalism.
- Follow lost-and-found procedures and consistently meet equipment safety and cleanliness standards.
