About The Position

The Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace is looking for a House Attendant to join our team! This 1000+ room property, connected by pedestrian skybridge to Disney Springs®, offers comfortable and modern amenities with stunning panoramic views. All suites and most guest rooms feature a private balcony with incredible views of Disney Springs® and Walt Disney World® Resort. The ideal candidate will have experience working in hotel housekeeping at a similar-sized property, good verbal English communication skills, and availability during nights, holidays, and weekends. This is a full-time position which requires full availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Clean designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, public areas, offices, and banquet/meeting/conference rooms.
  • Perform tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays.
  • Greet guests in a friendly manner.
  • Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair.
  • Stock and maintain supply rooms, as needed.
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example: mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.), as needed.
  • Deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms, as needed.
