About The Position

The beautiful, family friendly Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace is seeking a Cafeteria Attendant to join their team! This 1000+ room property is connected by pedestrian skybridge to Disney Springs® and offers luxury suites and amenities for magical vacations! The ideal candidate will be ServSafe certified and have 1 year of Cafeteria Attendant experience, a passion for serving others, strong food safety knowledge and an understanding of cooking temperatures. Shift Pattern: Full Availability. Candidates will need to be able to work any day of the week. Weekends and holidays are required. Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Providing food and beverage service to team members in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
  • Welcome and talk with team members/guests in order to create a friendly atmosphere and describe and/ or answer questions about menu items.
  • Observe and ask guests about their needs and levels of satisfaction with the food or service.
  • Obtaining and maintaining all necessary supplies from kitchen to set up cafeteria during schedule hours of service.
  • Perform all clean up duties such as sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down tables, cleaning salad bar, etc.
  • Set up and maintain food line and salad bar as needed on a timely basis.
  • Perform pre-meal and post-meal side work such as salad bar prep, dessert prep, etc.
