House Assistant

Sage HausCalgary, AB
CA$28 - CA$33Onsite

About The Position

We are a busy, active family with four teenagers, one of whom lives with us full-time and keeps a full schedule of school, competitive sports, and appointments. Our household runs at a high pace during the week, and we have worked hard to put good systems in place (weekly cleaning, daily dog walking, and outdoor maintenance are all handled). What we haven't been able to solve is the late afternoon pinch point: the scramble between wrapping up work, getting a healthy dinner on the table, and keeping up with the logistics that pile up during the day. We both work demanding professional schedules, often from home part of the week, and travel intermittently throughout the year. We have a big, lovable Bernedoodle who already has her own walker and groomer. We just need someone who loves dogs and is happy to pitch in when needed. Our home is warm, calm, and organized. We value professionalism, reliability, and someone who takes genuine pride in their work. This is a household that functions well—we are looking for someone who will make it function even better.

  • Naturally notices when supplies are running low, when something needs attention, or when there is an opportunity to make the household run more smoothly, and simply handles it
  • Genuinely enjoys being in the kitchen and is a confident home cook who is comfortable preparing healthy, family-friendly meals and taking ownership of meal planning and prep
  • Health-conscious, organized, and proactive
  • Comfortable working independently and quietly within a busy household, particularly when the parents are working from home
