About The Position

The Food & Beverage Lounge Supervisor oversees daily Summerlin Room operations, team members, lounge standards, and guest service in accordance with JW Marriott standards. This role verifies guest eligibility, monitors access, occupancy, and time-limit requirements, maintains cleanliness and operational readiness, enforces lounge policies professionally, and supports food and beverage service. The Supervisor upholds Company, Safety, Gaming, Alcohol Awareness, and Department policies while fostering teamwork, anticipating guest needs, and preserving the exclusivity of the lounge experience.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of food and beverage supervisory experience preferred
  • Previous customer service, hospitality, casino, VIP lounge, or player rewards experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English with guests and team members.
  • Positive attitude, teamwork, and strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate written and digital records.
  • Basic computer, telephone, and office equipment skills.
  • Basic understanding of casino player rewards, eligibility requirements, and VIP lounge access standards preferred.
  • Ability to remain professional and composed when enforcing lounge access, occupancy, time-limit, food and beverage, and guest conduct policies.
  • Must be 21 years of age

  • Valid Non-gaming/ Sherriff’s Card
  • Valid Gaming License

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests entering the Summerlin Room and deliver personalized, anticipatory service.
  • Verify guest eligibility through players club accounts, rewards cards, and government-issued identification; ensure access is limited to authorized guests, qualified players, and approved companions.
  • Monitor access, occupancy, and guest time limits; courteously enforce room access policies, usage requirements, and fair availability for eligible guests.
  • Ensure food, beverages, glassware, and other property assets remain within the lounge unless approved by management; monitor for bags, boxes, containers, Tupperware, backpacks, purses, or other vessels used to remove lounge items and report violations to management or Security.
  • Maintain an active lounge presence by monitoring cleanliness, guest satisfaction, presentation standards, and operational readiness; clear, clean, and reset tables as needed.
  • Complete opening, shift change, and closing inventories; replenish pars; place beverage and operating supply orders; receive deliveries; and communicate shortages or ordering needs.
  • Prepare daily operational reports, inventory reports, guest counts, end-of-day reports, and other required documentation.
  • Maintain accountability for beverage inventory, equipment, and operating supplies through proper control procedures.
  • Coordinate with Casino Marketing, VIP Services, Security, Beverage, Culinary, Public Areas, Facilities, and Stewarding to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Provide information regarding lounge amenities, casino promotions, and player rewards benefits; direct non-qualified guests to appropriate casino amenities, services, or player rewards representatives.
  • Create new player accounts and print VIP guest pass comps for qualified customers when business needs require.
  • Exercise sound judgment to preserve the integrity, exclusivity, and reputation of the Summerlin Room.
  • Perform bartender, server, host, food runner, lounge attendant, or related responsibilities as required while maintaining lounge oversight.
