About The Position

Villa Restaurant Group is hiring an Hourly Assistant Manager at The Market at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas. The role supports the General Manager with daily restaurant operations and helps lead the team in a fast-paced airport environment. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on maintaining company standards for service, food quality, cleanliness, and safety while providing an exceptional guest experience. A successful background check is required as part of the hiring process.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of restaurant supervisory or management experience.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to lead by example and work hands-on with the team.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Successful background check required for the airport position.

Nice To Haves

• Quick-service restaurant experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with daily restaurant operations.
• Supervise, coach, and support Team Members.
• Train and develop employees to meet company standards.
• Help ensure excellent guest service and professionally resolve guest concerns.
• Support food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and cost controls.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant.
• Provide hands-on support during busy periods and lead by example.
