About The Position

Villa Restaurant Group is hiring an Hourly Assistant Manager at The Market at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas. The role supports the General Manager with daily restaurant operations and provides hands-on leadership to the team in a fast-paced airport environment. The Assistant Manager helps maintain company standards for service, food quality, cleanliness, and safety while contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of restaurant supervisory or management experience.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to lead by example and work hands-on with the team.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Successful background check required.

• Quick-service restaurant experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with daily restaurant operations.

• Help ensure excellent guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Support food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and cost controls.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant.
