About The Position

Responsible for all guest service functions including being responsible for maintaining bell station, greeting guests, handling guest luggage, providing directions, assisting the front desk in answering phones and delivering items to guest rooms. The Hotel Valet Manager is responsible for overseeing all valet parking operations and guest service interactions at the hotel. This role serves as the primary liaison between hotel management and the valet team, ensuring efficient vehicle flow, exceptional guest experiences, and adherence to safety and operational standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent customer service skills, operational expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.

  • Ability to bend, stoop, and enter/exit vehicles repeatedly throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise valet attendants and shift leads.
  • Foster a positive, professional, and customer-focused work environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy.
  • Monitor employee productivity and service standards to ensure operational excellence.
  • Ensure all guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service.
  • Create a welcoming first and last impression for hotel guests and visitors.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns related to parking, vehicle handling, and valet services in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage daily valet operations, including vehicle intake, storage, retrieval, and traffic flow.
  • Monitor hotel entrance activity to minimize guest wait times and maintain smooth operations.
  • Assist with parking and vehicle retrieval during peak business periods or staffing shortages.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure proper handling of guest vehicles.
  • Monitor valet revenue, ticket reconciliation, and cash-handling procedures, when applicable.
  • Maintain accurate operational reports, including vehicle counts, staffing levels, and service metrics.
  • Assist in developing labor schedules that align with occupancy levels and business demands.
  • Enforce valet safety procedures and operational standards to prevent accidents and vehicle damage.
  • Monitor compliance with hotel policies, local traffic regulations, and company procedures.
  • Investigate and document vehicle damage claims, guest incidents, and safety concerns.
  • Maintain proper incident reporting and follow-up procedures.
