The Hotel Concierge Security Officer is responsible for providing a professional, welcoming, and highly visible security presence while delivering exceptional customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and staff. This position combines security responsibilities with concierge-level guest assistance to ensure a safe, secure, and positive hotel environment.
Requirements
- Professional appearance and excellent customer-service skills.

- Ability to remain alert, attentive, and professional throughout the shift.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and respond appropriately to security concerns.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.

- Prior hotel, hospitality, concierge, or security experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional and visible presence in the hotel lobby and throughout designated areas.
- Welcome and courteously assist guests, visitors, and hotel staff.
- Monitor and control access to the property while maintaining awareness of activity throughout the hotel.
- Conduct routine patrols and inspections of assigned areas.
- Identify, document, and promptly report safety, security, and maintenance concerns.
- Respond appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, and guest requests.
- Monitor surveillance systems and remain alert for suspicious or unauthorized activity.
- Enforce hotel security policies and procedures in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
- Coordinate with hotel management, emergency services, and law enforcement when necessary.
- Provide directions, basic guest assistance, and other concierge-related support as needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and level of attentiveness throughout the shift.
