About The Position

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms and suites at the 142-room Hampton Inn by Hilton in Marlborough, Massachusetts. The role includes cleaning assigned rooms to quality and customer-service standards, reporting discrepancies and maintenance issues, and responding promptly to guest requests. The position is full-time and may include weekend and holiday shifts when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel setting or willingness to be trained.
• Excellent customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods.
• Ability to navigate a cart weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Engaging personality.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned guest rooms and suites to cleanliness and customer-service standards.
• Clean floors and bathrooms, vacuum, change linens, and make beds.
• Report discrepancies and maintenance problems to the supervisor.
• Respond promptly to guest requests.
• Work weekends and holidays when required.
