About The Position

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms and suites at the Home2 Suites by Hilton near UCF. The role involves cleaning rooms as assigned by a supervisor while meeting cleanliness and customer-service standards. Work shifts typically begin between 8 and 9 a.m. and continue for approximately eight hours, with flexibility to work weekends and holidays when required.

The hotel is a 124-suite property owned and managed by Buffalo Lodging Associates, a hotel management company founded in 1996. The company owns and manages 50 hotel properties and partners with major hotel brands. Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel setting, or willingness to be trained.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to remain on one's feet for extended periods.
• Ability to navigate a cart weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Engaging personality.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned guest rooms and suites to meet cleanliness and customer-service standards.
• Clean floors, vacuum, change linens, make beds, and clean bathrooms.
• Report discrepancies and maintenance problems to a supervisor.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and provide excellent customer service.
• Work weekends and holidays when required.
