About The Position

The Residence Inn by Marriott Pleasanton is seeking a Night Auditor to join their team. This role is responsible for providing excellent guest service at the front desk, from reservation to departure. The position involves weekend and holiday shifts and is a graveyard position, requiring flexible availability. The hotel is an all-suite property located near major highways and adjacent to the Stoneridge Mall.

Requirements

• High school graduate. Some college preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-2 years Night Audit experience required.
• Previous Guest Service Agent experience; Marriott experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience required.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
• Valid RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certification.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background and credit check.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, providing exceptional service from reservation to check-out.
• Respond to guest needs, requests, and concerns with care and urgency.
• Promote and sell guest rooms, dining experiences, and seasonal hotel offers.
• Perform nightly audit procedures, including reconciling daily transactions and balancing reports.
• Monitor hotel security and ensure guest safety during overnight hours.
• Prepare for the next day's operations by preparing reports, updating systems, and assisting with early check-ins or wake-up calls.
