About The Position

We are looking to add to our award winning team! The Comfort Inn and Suites is located in Caldwell, Ohio. This role involves providing excellent customer service to all guests, managing check-in and check-out procedures, balancing cash, reconciling credit cards, answering the phone, and attending to the needs of the hotel guests during the night shift.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand for an 8 hour shift.

• Knowledge of Choice Advantage is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be in required uniform, name tag, and ear piece.
• Greet all guests.
• Providing information to guest about policies, services, and amenities.
• Respond to guest requests.
• Selling rooms to walk-in guests.
• Entering / changing reservations in the system.
• Posting charges to guest accounts.
• Processing payments from guests.
• Making necessary changes to guest accounts.
• Informing housekeeping of any room changes.
• Listening and responding to the needs of the guest.
• Responding to guest complaints.
• Answering the phone and transferring calls.
• Cleaning of the front desk area and the surrounding area.
• Completing checklists.
• Maintaining daily logs.
• Balancing cash drawer.
• Attitude must be conducive to team growth, hospitality, and serving environment.
• Willing to complete hospitality training and education of the hospitality industry.
• Complete any other duties given by the supervisor or general manager.
