About The Position

We are looking to add to our award winning team at the Sleep Inn Ellenboro. The Sleep Inn is located in Ellenboro, WV. This position provides excellent customer service to all guests of the hotel, handles check-in and check-out procedures, balances cash, reconciles credit cards, answers the phone, and attends to the needs of the guest.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Choice Advantage is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Be in required uniform, name tag, and ear piece.
• Greet all guests.
• Provide information to guests about policies, services, and amenities.
• Respond to guest requests.
• Sell rooms to walk-in guests.
• Enter/change reservations in the system.
• Post charges to guest accounts.
• Process payments from guests.
• Make necessary changes to guest accounts.
• Inform housekeeping of any room changes.
• Listen and respond to the needs of the guest.
• Respond to guest complaints.
• Answer the phone and transfer calls.
• Clean the front desk area and the surrounding area.
• Complete checklists.
• Maintain daily logs.
• Balance cash drawer.
• Complete hospitality training and education of the hospitality industry.
• Complete any other duties given by the supervisor or general manager.
