About The Position

The Hotel Maintenance Engineer is responsible for general maintenance and repairs in guest suites, meeting spaces, swimming pool, and common areas at the Residence Inn by Marriott - Seaport/Boston. The role also repairs and maintains mechanical, electrical, plumbing, kitchen, laundry, and HVAC systems and equipment to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. The engineer performs preventive maintenance, responds promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests, maintains accurate records, and conducts seasonal snow removal.

Requirements

One year of hotel maintenance-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
Valid driver’s license.
Availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Flexibility is required.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, walk, and climb ladders.

Nice To Haves

Experience with hotel building maintenance or certification in building maintenance.
