About The Position

The Hotel Laundry Attendant maintains hotel linen in accordance with company and brand standards through efficient cleaning and processing. The role is based primarily indoors at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Uptown Charlotte. Full-time attendants need flexibility to work either 8 a.m.–4 p.m. or 11 a.m.–7 p.m., and must be available on weekdays and weekends. The position also offers access to up to 50% of earned wages after each shift through daily pay.

Requirements

• Be flexible with work hours to accommodate last-minute scheduling changes.
• Have strong interpersonal skills to engage and interact with associates and guests.
• Be detail-oriented when supervising staff, inspecting facilities, and completing assignments.
• Be available to work weekend shifts.
• Be able to lift, push, pull, and carry approximately 20 pounds; stand for long periods; kneel, bend, crawl, squat, and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and teamwork that meets and exceeds customer and team member expectations.
• Sort laundry before washing according to fabric type, color, item, or soil concentration to maximize cleaning effectiveness.
• Remove damaged or stained linen before loading washers.
• Load washers and dryers to recommended weights and ensure maximum machine capacity.
• Operate, maintain, and clean laundry equipment according to company standards.
• Inform a supervisor or management of mechanical failures or supply shortages so corrective action can be implemented.
