About The Position
The Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and general appearance of the hotel’s public areas, including the lobby, hallways, and restrooms. The role includes cleaning rugs and carpets, maintaining storage closets with linens, towels, and cleaning supplies, and helping stock room attendants’ carts. The Houseperson also assists with housekeeping and maintenance tasks as assigned by a supervisor. The position is at Homewood Suites by Hilton near Universal Studios, an extended-stay hotel with 122 guest suites, owned and managed by Buffalo Lodging Associates.
Requirements
- Hotel housekeeping experience.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
- Great customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and general appearance of public areas, including the lobby, hallways, and restrooms.
- Clean rugs and carpets.
- Maintain storage closets with linens, towels, and cleaning supplies.
- Assist in stocking room attendants’ carts with supplies.
- Assist with housekeeping and maintenance tasks as assigned by a supervisor.
