Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Two years of experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervision preferred.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
  • Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
  • Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
  • Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
  • Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and public area staff to ensure guest rooms and hotel facilities meet established cleanliness and quality standards.
  • Schedule, train, coach, and evaluate housekeeping team members to promote efficiency, productivity, and exceptional guest service.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, laundry facilities, and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with hotel standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, guest amenities, and equipment; coordinate purchasing and replenishment as needed.
  • Maintain housekeeping procedures that support operational excellence, safety, and guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Front Desk, Maintenance, and other hotel departments to ensure smooth daily operations and timely room availability.
  • Address guest concerns and special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records related to staffing, scheduling, supplies, expenses, and departmental performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Promote a positive work environment through effective communication, teamwork, and leadership.
  • Assist with housekeeping duties when needed to support operational requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
