About The Position

A historic Philadelphia landmark is entering an exciting new chapter — and we are seeking a dynamic, hands-on General Manager to lead it. Located in the heart of iconic Rittenhouse Square, the 301-room Warwick Rittenhouse Square is a nearly 100-year-old “Grande Dame” hotel undergoing a major transformation as it evolves into a Marriott Tribute Portfolio property. The hotel features over 18,000 square feet of meeting and event space, multiple food & beverage outlets, and a residential component — creating a highly visible, complex, and high-touch operating environment. This is not a maintenance GM role. This is a transformational leadership opportunity for an experienced hospitality executive who can lead through renovation and repositioning, elevate culture and accountability, drive operational excellence and guest experience, partner effectively with ownership, brand, union leadership, and residential stakeholders, build a high-performing leadership team, and position the hotel as one of Philadelphia’s premier lifestyle destinations.

Requirements

  • Significant full-service hotel GM experience
  • Marriott brand experience
  • Experience leading unionized hotel environments
  • Strong financial acumen, labor management, and operational discipline
  • Proven ability to drive guest satisfaction, team engagement, and commercial performance
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, highly visible environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Is visible, decisive, and operationally strong
  • Understands luxury/lifestyle guest expectations
  • Leads with accountability and urgency
  • Can balance owner objectives with team culture and guest experience
  • Knows how to navigate both brand standards and independent hotel personality
  • Is comfortable driving change while preserving the legacy and history of an iconic property
