Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of hotel management and/or Marriott hotel management experience.
  • Post-high school coursework in hospitality from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or a related major.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to drive team performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Exceptional knowledge of Marriott brand standards, sales, and revenue management.
  • Experience with FOSSE or Power of M preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure alignment with brand guest satisfaction standards and thresholds by maintaining high service levels, addressing guest concerns promptly, and implementing strategies to improve satisfaction scores.
  • Oversee all hotel operations, ensuring smooth daily functions across departments while managing property maintenance to uphold a well-maintained, safe, and clean environment.
  • Lead, develop, and support staff to foster engagement, high performance, and professional growth while overseeing housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to strategic sales and collaborate with sales teams to maximize occupancy, grow market share, and enhance brand positioning.
  • Utilize your expertise to optimize revenue through effective pricing and yield management strategies.
  • Manage labor, budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to achieve revenue and profit goals.
  • Collaborate with the Plamondon Hospitality Partners network to leverage best practices and optimize financial outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and regulatory standards to create a safe and welcoming environment for guests and associates while upholding brand guidelines and local regulations.
  • Represent the hotel in the local community, building partnerships and maintaining a positive reputation.
