About The Position

Legacy Ventures Hotels is looking for a Hotel General Manager for the Hotel Indigo Beachfront in Corpus Christi, expected to open in late 2026. The ideal candidate will be an experienced boutique leader, focusing on neighborhood immersion in the Coastal Bend community, IHG brand standards, and high-energy leadership to drive revenue, guest satisfaction, and a team member-centered culture. The ideal candidate thrives in creative environments, possesses strong commercial acumen, and is passionate about delivering unique, locally inspired guest experiences.   • A degree from a four-year college or university or extensive applicable experience.
  • A minimum of 3-years’ experience as a full-service property General Manager or extensive applicable experience.
  • Experience in all areas of daily hotel operations with emphasis on sales & marketing, financial management, rooms, housekeeping, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the development and execution of strategic sales, marketing, and revenue management initiatives to achieve targeted RevPAR index goals, room revenue and total revenue goals, sales booking pace goals, and sales productivity goals.
  • Participate in daily and weekly revenue strategies and support the ongoing sales effort by participating in direct sales and supporting the sales team.
  • Respond quickly to changing market conditions and revise strategies accordingly.
  • Understand the local market, including key accounts, individuals, and organizations affecting demand drivers.
  • Manage costs to achieve GOP goals using checkbooks and other financial resources.
  • Ensure proper flow-through goals are achieved for any revenue variance.
  • Produce accurate and timely revenue and GOP projections / detailed forecasts.
  • Evaluate monthly financial statements and complete variance reports, including analysis of revenues, expenses, and balance sheet review.
  • Comply with all Company accounting procedures and maintain proper internal controls.
  • Develop annual business plans, including operating budget, Sales & Marketing plan, and Capital plan.
  • Oversee high volume food & beverage operations and deliver superior service, working with tenants to ensure proper service level and brand compliance in all facets of F&B operations (breakfast/bar, banquets, restaurant).
  • Work in conjunction with tenants to ensure contractual obligations are met, maximize profitability, and ensure acceptable service delivery.
  • Interact with guests and team members regularly to drive guest satisfaction and team member engagement scores.
  • Ensure all property preventive maintenance and deep cleaning programs are in place and perform regular property inspections (including guestrooms) with the operations team.
  • Interview, hire, supervise, train, and counsel department managers.
  • Develop departmental improvement plans as may be required.
  • Conduct regular visual inspections of the property and guestrooms for maintenance, cleanliness, and service standards.
  • Operate the property to pass all brand Quality Assurance inspections, as well as regulatory, insurance, or other inspections.
  • Oversee/manage the human resources function, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, coaching, counseling, discipline, complaint investigation/resolution, and recognition/rewards.
  • Comply with all local, state, federal, and brand life safety policies.
  • Ensure all Company and brand required training is executed effectively and on time.
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal laws (OSHA, EEOC, Wage and Hour).
  • Operate the property in an energy-efficient manner.
  • Conduct daily stand-ups, weekly staff meetings, bi-weekly manager one-on-ones, monthly GM roundtables, monthly luncheons/rallies, and other meetings as required.
  • Adhere to Legacy Ventures Service standards as outlined in the Blueprint and other policies/rules of conduct, including personal appearance/grooming, attendance, and safe/efficient operations.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned or that may be necessary to operate the hotel responsibly.
