About The Position

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment. This includes operating and maintaining the dish machine, washing dishes, glasses, pots, and pans, and ensuring all cleaning tasks are performed to keep the kitchen neat and clean. The role also involves managing trash disposal, adhering to safety protocols, and assisting with plating for banquet events as needed.

Responsibilities

• Use established guidelines to correctly operate and maintain the dish machine.
• Wash glasses and dishes in a standard dish rack.
• Wash pots and pans in the designated pot washer's area.
• Perform all required cleaning to keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times, including sweeping up broken glass/dishes and mopping spills.
• Empty full and heavy trash cans, spray and sanitize them after each use, and place new trash bags in the container.
• Follow all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) protocols and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties in other areas of the Kitchen as assigned, including assisting with plating banquet events when needed.
