About The Position

The new Residence Inn in Vail, CO is looking to hire a full-time Hotel Front Desk Agent / Guest Services to WOW our guests with hospitality from the moment they arrive until their departure. This role is customer service-oriented and friendly, and involves working with a great team of hardworking people. The position offers exceptional benefits and is a morning shift or night shift opportunity in the hospitality industry.

Requirements

At least one month of related experience or training.
Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.
Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide amazing hospitality to make sure guests feel at home.
Remain calm and tactful when helping challenging guests.
Check guests in and out.
Make reservations.
Take phone calls.
Answer guests' questions.
Solve problems.
Keep track of room availability and housekeeping needs.
Follow the hotel's night auditor checklist and ensure all tasks are complete (for night shift).
Run end-of-day night audit reports in the property management system (PMS) (for night shift).
Ensure the front desk, lobby, and common areas are clean and organized.
Handle confidential information including guest records.
Be responsible for the cash drawer contents and financial transactions.
Maintain accurate records including cash flows, registration cards, reservation cards, and property walks.
Ensure safety and security by making sure the front doors and swimming pool area gates are locked at the appropriate hour.
