About The Position

Drury Hotels is seeking a Hotel Director of Sales to oversee sales efforts for three hotels: Drury Plaza Hotel Chesterfield, Hyatt Place Chesterfield, and Drury Inn & Suites Brentwood Hotels. Requirements

  • Passion for sales.
  • Requires a minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in hospitality with a group sales background or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and cultivate high-value B2B leads, crafting compelling proposals that secure lucrative partnerships.
  • Demonstrate initiative and creativity in finding new business and new contacts for new and existing accounts resulting in increased revenue.
  • Dive deep into the intricacies of group RFPs & Account Travel Program needs, dissecting their requests and crafting tailor-made solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Directly supervises onsite sales coordinator(s), including recruiting, hiring, coaching, and counseling following Drury standards.
  • Collaborates with other members of the sales team, GM, & other corporate stakeholders.
  • Drive revenue through client meetings, swift follow-up, compelling proposals, and meticulous account management.
  • Keep internal stakeholders informed with CRM docs and meeting prep.
  • Participates and supports the revenue budgeting process.
