As a key member of the leadership team, the Dual Director of Sales is accountable for the revenue generation of two properties: Clearwater Beach Hampton Inn & Suites and Dolphin Sands Clearwater Beach. Reporting to the General Manager, the Dual Director of Sales is responsible for maintaining the highest level of ethical leadership to lead the properties to achieve their business goals while embracing the McKibbon Guiding Principles. This role involves coordinating and delegating sales solicitations and bookings, training sales associates, implementing McKibbon procedures, monitoring market trends, and supporting the operations team. The position also requires maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders, engaging in community organizations, and managing sales accountability through documentation, coaching, and performance reviews. A significant part of the role involves leading the sales team, including recruiting and hiring, and supporting the guest experience. The Dual Director of Sales will also participate in revenue management calls, facilitate sales strategy calls, develop strategic business plans and budgets, and prepare market updates for owner calls. Daily and weekly sales meetings are a key component of this role.
