A JF Restaurants Leadership Role - Located in the heart of the Financial District, The Wall Street Hotel blends historic New York grandeur with contemporary refinement—where every guest interaction is intentional, and every detail carries weight. Within this environment, John Fraser Restaurants (JFR) is seeking a Hotel Director of Operations, Food & Beverage to lead and elevate all culinary and service experiences across the property. As Hotel Director of Operations for JF Restaurants, you are the senior F&B leader on The Wall Street Hotel property, responsible for the full performance, integrity, and evolution of all food and beverage operations within The Wall Street Hotel. You will serve as the critical bridge between JFR, hotel leadership, and ownership, ensuring alignment across financial performance, service standards, and guest experience. This role demands a leader who is as comfortable in strategic financial stewardship as they are on the restaurant floor during peak service, guiding execution in real time.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years in senior F&B or multi-unit operations
  • Proven track record of full P&L ownership and financial leadership
  • Experienced within luxury hotels or similarly high-touch, high-expectation environments
  • A leader who balances strategic oversight with hands-on operational presence
  • Skilled in managing complex stakeholder relationships, including ownership groups
  • A calm, confident communicator with high emotional intelligence
  • Relentlessly detail-oriented, with a deep respect for service standards and team culture
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by hospitality operations
  • Active presence in service environments, including physical floor leadership
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all restaurant, bar, in-room dining, and event operations
  • Ensure seamless, elevated service standards across all guest touchpoints
  • Maintain active presence during service periods, leading from the floor when required
  • Uphold and continuously refine JFR operational standards within a luxury hotel environment
  • Full ownership of F&B division P&L performance
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles
  • Drive profitability through disciplined labor management and cost controls
  • Identify and execute opportunities to improve operational efficiency and revenue performance
  • Directly manage and develop all F&B department heads and leadership teams
  • Establish clear expectations, KPIs, and accountability frameworks
  • Build a culture rooted in professionalism, hospitality, and precision
  • Develop internal leadership pathways within the operation
  • Act as primary liaison between JFR, hotel leadership, and ownership
  • Ensure alignment between F&B operations and the broader hotel guest experience
  • Represent the operation in strategic and financial discussions with clarity and authority
  • Drive implementation of menus, concepts, and seasonal programming
  • Lead activations and initiatives that enhance both revenue and guest engagement
  • Continuously refine the F&B program to reflect a best-in-class luxury standard
  • Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and food safety regulations
  • Maintain all required certifications and ensure team-wide adherence
  • Partner with hotel leadership to proactively manage operational risk
