About The Position

Pratt & Whitney, a world leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines and auxiliary power systems, has an exciting opportunity for a Hot Section Product Cost Senior Manager with its Hot Section Modular Center (HSMC) team. This is an onsite position based out of the East Hartford, Connecticut location. The role involves acting as the primary liaison for Hot Section product cost, directly partnering with Hot Section Operations and each Hot Section financial Controller to support Military and Commercial Engine programs. The position will establish comprehensive product cost time standards at a part level detail for LRP and AOP planning cycles, and will be responsible for monthly actuals results summary and forecasting for input product cost for each module center. Additionally, the role supports and presents Commercial and Military Engines product cost reviews. Through this role, you will learn how market share, cost per hour, time on part efficiency, and vendor assist strategy impact shop manufacturing contributions to engine product cost, and how to connect operational efficiencies into ultimate product cost benefits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of applicable experience; OR an Advanced degree and 7+ years of applicable experience.
  • Finance or Hot section operations background.
  • Strong MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.
