About The Position

As Hostess, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and pleasant dining atmosphere as well as cocktail service on our world famous Rooftop Lounge. You will assist in setting up and maintaining the control and comfort of the guests arriving to the Rooftop. Additionally, you will provide courteous and efficient service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly.

Requirements

High school education plus one or more years of related experience.
Ability to understand and provide friendly guest service.
Ability to understand and comply with proper seating chart rotation.

Nice To Haves

Alcohol awareness certification
Familiarity with hospitality industry practices

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests properly and issue menus.
Ensure all tables are properly set before seating guests.
Ensure all menus are clean.
Maintain and use seating chart for rotation of stations.
Organize and maintain a clean service podium.
Answer the phone properly and follow all reservation procedures.
Complete assigned side work and related cleaning duties.
Process guest bills and payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card transactions, room charge processes and accounting policies and procedures.
