About The Position

This role involves providing guests with information on property services, assisting them, and directing them to tables. The Hostess/Cashier will also answer phones, ensure guests are attended to, handle initial complaints, and maintain a safe environment. Staying updated on casino/resort events and F&B outlet hours is crucial. The position requires utilizing proper transaction procedures, balancing cash banks with the cage, and completing related paperwork. A key aspect is providing service that reflects the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation, and Recognition (S.T.A.R.). Additionally, the role requires immediate reporting of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity to the on-site IGC Agent, Security, and Supervisor on Duty, in accordance with the company's Self-Reporting Policy. Miscellaneous duties as assigned are also part of the role.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with others
  • Understands and complies with all company and departmental rules and regulations
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • May be required to obtain an Indiana Alcohol Beverage permit

Responsibilities

  • Supply guests with information on services available on property.
  • Assist guests following service essentials and direct guests to tables.
  • Answer phones and direct calls appropriately.
  • Ensure guests in each station are being properly attended.
  • Handle initial complaints and informs manager on duty.
  • Ensure a safe environment for fellow employees and guests.
  • Remain current on casino/resort events and hours of operation for all F&B outlets.
  • Utilize proper procedures and documentation for transactions.
  • Ensure bank is counted and balanced with cage.
  • Complete and submit related paperwork.
  • Provide service to internal and external customers which reflects the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation and Recognition. (S.T.A.R.)
  • Responsible for immediately informing on-site IGC Agent on duty, Security and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity of which you commit, witness or become aware; must report pursuant to company Self-Reporting Policy.
  • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
