About The Position

Mamani, a 1 Michelin Star restaurant featuring French cuisine with an Italian accent from Executive Chef Christophe De Lellis, is seeking a Host. The restaurant is inspired by the founders' French-born grandmother, 'Mamani,' and Chef De Lellis draws inspiration from his Italian grandparents. Mamani is located in the new Quad development in Uptown and is committed to providing opportunities for learning and growth within a team focused on genuine hospitality, teamwork, and mutual support.

Requirements

• Previous host or customer service experience, preferably in fine dining or upscale environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure
• Attention to detail and a commitment to exceptional guest service
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

• Experience with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, Resy)
• Knowledge or appreciation of sushi and Japanese dining culture

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, maintaining a calm and elegant presence
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating flow with precision and attention to detail
• Escort guests to their tables while presenting the restaurant with knowledge and poise
• Communicate effectively with servers, sushi chefs, and management to coordinate service
• Provide accurate wait times and ensure guest comfort during busy periods
• Answer phone calls, manage bookings, and accommodate special requests when possible
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing host stand and entrance area
