Hosts create a welcoming first impression, manage guest flow, and support smooth dining room operations. They serve as a key communication link between guests, servers, kitchen staff, and management to help ensure a positive and efficient guest experience. Hosts greet and seat guests, manage reservations and table rotation, respond to guest questions and concerns, and communicate dining details and operational issues to the appropriate team members. They may also assist with to-go orders, payments, food and beverage service, bussing, and other front-of-house duties. The role includes maintaining clean, organized dining and serving areas, checking restrooms and supplies, supporting opening and closing duties, and following company policies and safety standards. Hosts must accurately record hours worked. Off-the-clock work is prohibited, and manager approval is required for shift extensions. Hosts may participate in an approved tip pool under the Company’s policy. Overtime is paid at the applicable regular rate, with the correct tip credit applied for straight-time hours as required by law. Management may assign additional related duties within compliance standards.
