About The Position

The Host welcomes and greets guests, helps them feel comfortable, and lets them know they will be personally cared for. The role involves recognizing regular guests and their preferences, managing the wait list and communicating estimated wait times, seating guests according to their preferences while balancing guest flow, and presenting menus. Hosts also take and fulfill to-go orders, answer incoming calls, thank guests as they leave, and invite them to return. Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to continuously bend, reach, and twist, and to use hands and arms.

Responsibilities

Welcome and greet guests upon arrival.
Make guests feel comfortable and let them know you are there to personally take care of them.
Learn regular guests' names, preferences, and needs.
When guests are waiting, collect their name and party size, provide an estimated wait time, and seat them as soon as possible.
Seat guests based on their preferences while balancing guest flow.
Present guests with a menu when they are seated.
Take and execute all to-go orders.
Answer incoming calls.
Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
