About The Position

Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living is hiring a full-time Host/Hostess to help maintain restaurant operations. The role works directly with the team to keep restaurant flow organized and help servers and back-of-house staff work efficiently and effectively. The Host manages the dining entrance, welcomes residents, handles telephone requests, maintains sanitation, and assists with wait-staff training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, unless currently an active student.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Ability to safely lift or move up to 25 pounds with designated equipment.
• Flexible schedule and availability to work all shifts and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a kitchen or service environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the dining front entrance and greet and welcome residents when they arrive at the restaurant.
• Answer telephones professionally and follow up with requests.
• Maintain front-of-house and kitchen sanitation.
• Assist in training the wait staff.
