About The Position

The Farmer's Daughter Restaurant at Normandy Farm Hotel & Conference are seeking qualified individuals who are interested in working in an upscale hospitality environment. An exemplary work ethic, meticulous attention to detail and a passion for providing superior customer service are necessary for all applicants. Applicants with experience working for first-class hospitality organizations will be strongly considered.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Work Permit required under the age of 18
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Possess a basic knowledge of excellent service standards, guest relations, food, and beverage preparations as well as etiquette.
Mandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies, and rules
Regular and predictable attendance.
Always arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance.
Must have reliable transportation.

Previous hosting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Attends and Participates in all training sessions and team meetings.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others while listening and responding in an appropriate manner.
Greet guests with a warm smile to make them feel welcome.
Seats guests and provides menus, following the appropriate rotation.
Answers the phone politely and assists callers, including answering questions about the establishment and making reservations.
Manages and confirms all Open Table reservations.
Cater to the guests’ requests and needs in a prompt and professional manner to ensure an overall superior level of customer service.
Performs all assigned side work and keeps host stand and lobby area clean.
Follow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conduct.
Notifies and reports any problems or concerns to management.
Reports to the Restaurant Manager
