About The Position

The Host is the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a warm, welcoming, and memorable dining experience. This position is responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, answering inquiries, and ensuring smooth restaurant flow while delivering exceptional service aligned with Four Seasons standards. The Host is part of the Restaurant team and reports to the Restaurant Manager or Outlet Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous restaurant, food and beverage, hospitality, or guest service experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for hospitality.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn reservation management systems.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and commitment to exceptional guest service.
• Full-time availability
• Hours may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
• Candidates must have valid work authorization for the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with genuine hospitality and seat them promptly according to their preferences and restaurant seating plans.
• Manage reservations, guest inquiries, and restaurant waitlists in a professional and efficient manner.
• Answer telephone calls and provide information regarding restaurant offerings, operating hours, and hotel services.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond thoughtfully to questions, requests, and concerns.
• Build rapport with guests by recognizing repeat visitors and personalizing the service experience whenever possible.
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, and restaurant promotions to confidently assist guests.
• Support dining room readiness by ensuring menus, podium areas, and table settings meet presentation standards.
• Work collaboratively with servers, managers, and culinary teams to create a seamless guest experience.
