Uphold the Fairmont Breakers values and mission statement while performing positional responsibilities. Adhere to company policy and procedures, as stated in the company handbook. Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service. Interact with arriving and departing guests. Answer the phone using company standards and etiquette. Take, record, and confirm with accuracy restaurant reservations in accordance with the reservation guidelines. Use the Open Table system to input bookings and track Guest progress throughout the meal service periods. Use clear and concise communication with the assistants, servers, bartenders and the managers regarding the needs of the guests. Escort guests to the appropriate table in the dining room. Act as point of contact between guests and leadership. Engage and interact with guests to create a friendly, attentive, and memorable dining experience. Tailor guest experience. Be familiar with all menu items and aspects and services of the property. Assist in cleaning, clearing and setting tables. Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant. Be familiar with all food outlets and amenities within the property. May assist with inventory and requisition forms. Be knowledgeable of general city information as well as hotel history. Be an ambassador for the department, the property and the brand. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Other duties as assigned.
