About The Position

Hosts begin each Guest’s experience at Chili’s by providing warm hospitality and service. They welcome Guests, manage the wait list, answer and direct telephone calls, communicate concerns to the Manager when appropriate, and help maintain a safe and welcoming restaurant environment. Hosts may also assist fellow Team Members as appropriate. This role suits someone who enjoys making people feel welcome and can work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. No experience is necessary.

Requirements

• Friendly, warm, and caring attitude, ready to greet Guests with a smile.
• Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Ability to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary.
• No experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Give a warm welcome to every Guest.
• Manage the wait list.
• Communicate Guest concerns to the Manager when appropriate.
• Answer telephone calls within three rings and direct calls.
• Help fellow Team Members when appropriate.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
