About The Position

Hosts begin each Guest’s experience at Chili’s by providing a warm welcome and hospitality. They greet Guests, manage the wait list, answer and direct telephone calls, communicate concerns to a Manager, assist fellow Team Members when appropriate, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment. The role is suitable for candidates with no prior experience who enjoy making Guests feel special and can work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.

Requirements

• Friendly, warm, and caring attitude, with readiness to greet Guests with a smile.
• Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to work standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary.
• No experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Give a warm welcome to every Guest.
• Manage the wait list.
• Communicate Guest concerns to the Manager when appropriate.
• Answer the telephone within three rings and direct calls.
• Help fellow Team Members when appropriate.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
