About The Position
Line Cooks are Heart of House Team Members responsible for setting the pace for a great shift and providing dependable, fast service. They prepare food according to Chili’s recipe procedures, keep the kitchen clean and safe, and help maintain steady food service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The role contributes to a safe and welcoming environment for Team Members and Guests.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
