About The Position
Chef David LeFevre has carved a niche in Manhattan Beach with eclectic, chef driven restaurants focusing on soulful food, engaging service, hand crafted cocktails and boutique wine selections. Manhattan Beach Post opened in April 2011, Fishing With Dynamite in April 2013 and The Arthur J in June 2015. We are looking to recruit skilled, highly passionate, experienced and motivated Hostess/Maitre'D's @ Fishing with Dynamite.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year hosting experience in an upscale casual atmosphere.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to smile amidst the hustle & bustle of a busy restaurant.
- Guest First mentality.
- Quick thinking.
- Grace under pressure.

- Passion for hospitality and relationship building.

Responsibilities
- Greeting guests and managing the reservation system.
- Seating guests and ensuring a positive first impression.
- Handling phone calls and inquiries.
- Assisting with table turns and maintaining dining room flow.
- Providing exceptional customer service and anticipating guest needs.
