About The Position

Friendship Village is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Host/Hostess for its Landmark Commons Bay restaurant. This role is crucial in creating a warm and enjoyable dining experience for residents and guests. The Host/Hostess will greet residents, provide updates to waiting customers, offer work direction to Dining Associates, assist with attentive table service, and ensure the dining room is clean, comfortable, and inviting. This position also involves assisting with special events, holiday meals, and catering functions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of dining service or hospitality service experience
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Must be organized
• Must have good communication skills
• Applicants are required to pass pre-employment screenings that could include: Criminal background checks, Abuse registry check, Drug test, Physical, Flu vaccinated and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents with a smile.
• Provide updates to customers as they wait.
• Provide work direction to Dining Associates.
• Assist with providing attentive table service.
• Ensure the dining room is clean, comfortable, and inviting.
• Assist with special events, holiday meals, and catering functions as needed.
