About The Position
The Half Pint, a lively sports bar in Greenwich Village known for its welcoming atmosphere, great food, and craft beer selection, is seeking hosts to join their team. The bar, which opened in June 2007, is a neighborhood favorite and home to Alabama football. Stout NYC Hospitality Group, the parent company, operates a dozen owner-operated bars/restaurants in NYC and aims to create authentic, accessible spaces for meaningful connections, with a focus on guest experience and food/drink programs.
Requirements
- Ability to multitask.
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with food service preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and manage reservations.
- Seat guests at appropriate tables.
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand.
- Assist with managing waitlists during busy periods.
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
