About The Position

Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center is one of New York City’s most celebrated attractions, offering panoramic skyline views and a refined, world-class guest experience. To support peak season operations, we’re seeking professional, customer-focused Hosts who bring confidence, poise, and a strong service mindset to a fast-paced environment. As a HOST, you are both the first impression and lasting memory of each visit — setting the tone, guiding the guest journey, and ensuring every interaction reflects the elevated standards of our iconic destination.

Requirements

• Outgoing, enthusiastic personality with a genuine passion for guest service
• Consistent professionalism and polished demeanor
• A “can-do” attitude and solution-oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• Team player mentality with a positive attitude
• Comfort working in changing climate conditions and high-altitude floors
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime during peak seasons
• Walking and standing for a significant portion of the shift
• Ability to work throughout all areas of the attraction, including elevated floors

Responsibilities

• Meet, greet, and interact with guests in a professional, friendly, and welcoming manner
• Provide directions throughout the attraction to maintain smooth guest flow
• Share safety information and helpful insights about Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Center, and NYC
• Admit ticket holders using wireless admission terminals
• Load guests into elevators and manage traffic flow at high-visibility areas
• Identify and resolve guest flow challenges in partnership with leadership
• Actively listen and respond thoughtfully to guest inquiries
