About The Position

As the first and last point of contact for our guests, Hosts at The Rabbit Hole play a key role in setting the tone for a warm, energetic, and memorable dining experience. We're looking for friendly, organized, and confident individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. You’ll be responsible for greeting every guest with genuine hospitality, managing reservations and waitlists, and coordinating table flow to support smooth service. Requirements

• Previous experience as a host or in a guest-facing hospitality role is an asset
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Calm under pressure, with a proactive and team-oriented mindset
• Comfortable using reservation and table management systems (OpenTable) - preferred
• A passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences
• Valid Smart Serve Certification Required
• Available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Legally eligible to work in Canada

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a warm, professional, and timely manner
• Manage reservation and walk-in traffic using Open Table
• Monitor table rotation and coordinate with Front Of House and Back Of House teams to optimize guest flow
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the host stand and entrance area
• Answer guest inquiries and assist with special requests, wait times, or accommodations
• Support the overall guest experience with a friendly and attentive approach
• Assist with bussing tables and support the team by running food and beverages as needed
• Other duties as assigned
