Love meeting new people? Join our team as a Host/Hostess and set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience! You’ll greet guests, manage seating, and keep the restaurant running smoothly while delivering exceptional hospitality.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals and menus.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Basic computer skills required.
Candidate must be able to obtain appropriate licensing.
There are no supervisory responsibilities in this position.
Candidate must be able to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods of time.
Candidate is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
Candidate is required to talk and hear.
The employee may be required to lift up to 25 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
One year of food or hospitality service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintains full knowledge of restaurant lay-out and seats patrons based off of specific layout.
Maintains a thorough knowledge of menu items.
Communicates to management in a timely fashion any guest compliments or complaints.
Candidate must maintain a positive and friendly demeanor, have excellent communication skills and be able to work with the public in a large dining room.
Candidate will assist in restaurant as needed and will perform all other duties as assigned.
Will work nights, weekends, holidays and special events.
