Host at Avvio Millbury. New location opening early fall — training begins in September. The Host is the first face guests see and the last impression they take home. Requirements

A genuinely warm, outgoing personality – you make people feel at ease when they walk in
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task without losing your cool
Clear, confident communication with both guest and teammates under pressure
A polished, professional presence that reflects the Avvio experience
Prior hosting, front-desk, or customer service experience preferred
Comfort using reservation and waitlist software, or the ability to learn quickly
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

Greet every guest with genuine warmth and set the tone for an exceptional dining experience from the very first moment
Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating flow to keep the dining room running smoothly
Communicate table status and wait times clearly and honestly – with guest and with your team
Answer phones, take reservations, and handle guest inquiries with professionalism and care
Keep the host stand and entrance area clean, organized and welcoming throughout the shift
