About The Position
The Host ensures that all guests are greeted and seated in a friendly and courteous manner using appropriate procedures and in accordance with Omni Standards. The role supports efficient, quality service by managing the restaurant entrance, responding to guest needs, and assisting servers.
Requirements
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
- Able to perform multiple tasks at the same time.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience as a host in a similar dining atmosphere is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls.
- Greet and seat guests.
- Control heavy volume at the restaurant entrance.
- Maintain knowledge of the hotel property.
- Inform guests about buffets.
- Attend to and anticipate guests’ needs.
- Be familiar with the menu and daily specials.
- Assist servers in providing efficient and quality service to guests.
