About The Position

The Sky House Busser/Host is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for greeting and seating them in a friendly and efficient manner. They manage reservations, waitlists, and coordinate seating flow to ensure smooth restaurant operations and a positive guest experience. Additionally, they support the dining room team by clearing and resetting tables, refilling water, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant. They help ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience for guests.

Requirements

English reading, writing and communication; plus basic math.
Able to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
Will lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
Strong attention to detail.
Must be capable of managing and performing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

Ability to ski or snowboard at an intermediate level is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist cashiers by retrieving and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils and napkins.
Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards.
Remove used plates, glasses, utensils from table after customers are done eating.
Clean up water spills, food stains and debris from tables.
Take out trash and recycling.
Refilling paper napkins, condiments, salt, and pepper shakers.
Cleaning and bussing both The Nest & Red Hawk Café dining area throughout the shift.
Help cashiers with side work.
