About The Position
El Camino Health is hiring a Host in Nutrition Services to provide quality customer service as a nutritional services liaison to patients and staff. The role collects patient menus and food preferences, delivers and retrieves meal trays and nourishments, maintains the nourishment area on the unit, and enters and retrieves patient food data using the EMR and diet office software system. The Host communicates with diet clerks, clinical dietitians, and nursing unit staff to support excellent food service to patients. This is an enterprise position. As needed, the employee may be assigned work across departments, at the Mountain View or Los Gatos campuses, or at locations within a 15-mile radius.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Documented proficiency using basic MS Office applications and Outlook.
- Excellent hospitality and customer service skills.
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
